Huddersfield v Fulham Preview

Huddersfield Town v Fulham Preview  v  Overview: Friday night sees an early season clash between two sides relegated from the Premier League last season. Huddersfield, who finished rock bottom, will be looking for their first league win of the season and a first win since February. Fulham didn't fare much better last season, after a well-documented summer of spending backfired and three different managers, they are looking to bounce straight back to the Premier League. As is the case with most teams relegated from the Premier League, both teams have had a summer of transition. Fulham have looked to strip back to the core team that got them promoted in the 17/18 season before adding further proven Championship class. They have shifted the majority of high profile flops such as Seri and Anguissa (departing to Turkey and Spain on loan) and replaced them with proven Championship players such as H. Sunderland's Left Back Conundrum

Sunderland's Left Back Conundrum At the end of last season, Sunderland had a healthy supply of left backs. However, a more surprising move was Reece James' to Doncaster. Weeks earlier a contract extension was negotiated, which did mean when he moved Sunderland could cash in on a fee. Even at the time it seemed a naive decision,

Accrington v Sunderland Preview

Accrington Stanley v Sunderland Preview Overview: Tuesday night sees the beginning of cup football for the season, and a trip to Accrington awaits Sunderland. This is Sunderland's third trip since the beginning of last season (thanks to an abandoned game) and will be pleased to know this is the first game to be played on the newly relaid pitch at Accrington. Jack Ross knows a performance is needed after two opening draws in the league, and this should come as a welcome distraction ahead of the clash with Portsmouth on Saturday, whilst offering a number of fringe players a chance to impress. What to Expect from Accrington?: Accrington began their campaign with a 2-0 defeat to newly promoted Lincoln away from home, before seeing their league game against Bury postponed on Saturday. They lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with the most notable absentee Billy Kee, who is yet to return to training since pre season. 3 new signings started in an otherwise settle
